Oscar ‘ExCels expectations’ at Business Travel Market

The Business Travel Market (BTM) Conference & Exhibition at London's ExCeL in June was the single most successful sales & marketing project ever undertaken by Oscar. 

Oscar is a managed solution that delivers the most appropriate transport, on time and at a competitive price.  The maturity of the product and business has allowed Oscar to take a vital step in growth.  Corporate clients acknowledge Oscar as the most innovative, progressive and environmentally friendly platform in the industry. This, combined with Oscar's total independence from any Ground Transport supplier, has ensured success in the corporate market.  

The show was well attended and has created a number of new opportunities for the Oscar Platform to process an extra 50,000 journey's per month. This success will be welcome news to the many car companies already registered with us. It also underlines the importance of the continuous improvement and investment programme we have undertaken during a difficult economic climate.  For those who were unable to attend the show, we would be delighted to demonstrate Oscar's new functionality at their request.

Oscar has been working with several new European clients and will launch its new International service in the first quarter of 2011. This is a major expansion for Oscar and will be a focal point of the company's future growth. It will also provide services not currently offered by any other UK Ground Transport supplier.  We will support this new expansion by attending a series of European shows, the first of which will be in Berlin in October.
